She has now worked with hundreds of clients and students and is truly in awe of the potency and power of healing with the wisdom of the Body.

Working with Liz is completely liberating, I felt like I was unlocking a new piece of myself that had either been trapped or holding back. The space that Liz created was exactly what I needed to meet myself deeper and see the reflection of my true self.

What is yoga + somatic therapy?

01

Healing WITH your body

Unlike traditional talk therapy, somatics and yoga therapy focus on addressing subconscious patterns stored in the body from unprocessed experiences. Only 10% of trauma is stored in your verbal memory, meaning the rest is stored in the body's intricate memory system for example in the memory cells in the fascia, in patterned tension in connective muscle tissue, in the spine and pelvic bowl.

Sessions are not centered around talking but healing through the body.

03

Archetypal Embodiment + the Mythic Body

Archetypes are universal symbols or themes that resonate deeply within our psyche. They represent fundamental human experiences and emotions, helping us to understand and radically accept ourselves. Liz supports clients in embracing their own origin story and the archetypes they have embodied in their life. This process enables clients to perceive themselves beyond societal roles and connect with their essence beyond labels and identities. From there clients can restructure their internal programming towards safety, nurturing, grounding and protection. (Similar to Internal Family Systems IFS)

05

True Trauma Resolutions

Trauma resolution happens when you are no longer living your life from the lens and survival patterns of past traumas. The brain and body (fasica + nervous system) are constantly adapting and forming new connections based on repeated experiences. Somatic and yoga therapy reinforce calm, regulated states by creating neural pathways and fascial patterns that replace automatic stress-driven reactions. Over time, these pathways make it easier for your brain to default to relaxation rather than tension, improving your ability to manage stress in daily life.

02

 Non-Dual Philosophy

So much of trauma originates from the trance of unworthiness. We learn that our worth has to be earned or proven through society, cultural norms and family dynamics. This creates the patterns that subconsciously run our lives. The non-dual philosophy of traditional tantra and vedanta teaches that you are already whole and complete. You are innately worthy and you don’t have to do anything to earn or prove that. Liz’s approach to Yogic therapy is centered around this non-dual philosophy.

04

Embodiment + Empowerment

In somatic and yoga therapy we practice bringing the wisdom of healing into the body. Meaning what we work on in sessions will directly impact your ability to carry out day to day tasks, befriend your nervous system and find regulation in your bodies natural cycles. This is not just about understanding what happened to you, but learning how to take back control of your life.

06

Brain Wave Therapy + Sonic Alchemy

Liz's unique method combines the full spectrum yoga teachings and modern day somatic therapy with sound healing and shamanic healing arts. Using sound healing and brainwave therapy to support the body in entering a slower brain wave state, or a shamanic trance. The delta and theta brainwaves are proven to induce healing states. Sound waves interact with your cells, DNA expressions and body tissues at a vibratory level. Restoring harmony and attuning your body to healing. Liz also specializes in using vocal techniques, nada yoga and shamanic vocal healing to guide clients into using their own voice for healing, energetic protection, creative expression and embodied freedom.

Clients report this work supporting them in;

sleeping better, having peaceful dreams and no longer experiencing night terrors, feeling safety in their intimate relationships, speaking up at work, creating more personal boundaries, returning to passions and hobbies, dancing and singing for fun again, experiencing more success in their businesses, feeling safe to try new things... and more!
